Budapest Airport is 24 kilometres from the centre, and by the time you land, that last stretch is the one you have least patience for. We book the car against the flight number, so a delayed landing moves your pickup instead of losing it.

How it works.

Send the flight number, not the time
The booking is held against the flight. We watch it, and if the aircraft is two hours late the driver arrives two hours later. There is no charge for that.

The driver waits inside
Not at the kerb, and not in the car park. He stands in the arrivals hall with a name board, which is where you will look first if you have never been to Budapest.

Luggage goes in the boot
The driver takes the cases and walks you to the car, parked a minute from the door. You carry nothing across the forecourt.

One price, agreed beforehand
No meter, no night surcharge, no separate line for the motorway toll or the airport parking fee. The number quoted to you is the number invoiced.

Worth knowing.
- Terminal 2A and 2B share one arrivals hall, so the driver meets every flight in the same place.
- For departures we work back from the check-in desk, not from the take-off time, and add for traffic on weekday mornings.
- A second stop on the way in, at another hotel or an apartment, is arranged at the time of booking.
